Frank McCulley was born in Oklahoma, and grew up in Texas and California. He earned his B.F.A. from UT at Arlington and his M.F.A  from UT Austin. He has taught art in high school and community college in Fort Worth . His artwork have been shown in various Fort Worth galleries and exhibits. His paper mache animals have won awards in the "Art in the Metroplex" juried exhibit, as well as  purchased and displayed by the Fort Worth Zoo.
